Political Correctness and Sensitivity.

I was shocked to listen to the radio the other day when Neal Boortz was talking about how the famous "Three Little Pigs" had now been renamed "Three little Puppies" in order to not offend the Muslims. This got me thinking and here are more absurd ones..

1 2 buckle my shoe. 3 4 Open the door (not shut the door) ...... 9 10 Do it again (cant say big fat hen - politically incorrect).

The Nursery Rhyme three blind mice is under attack from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals , a bunch of whack jobs) they fear it might offend the mice .

"London Bridge is falling down" is going away. Its a no no after Sep 11th, Also has references to Color "My fair Lady".

Here are some words that will shortly disappear from the Dictionary and Vocabulary because of political correctness.

Dishonest - Ethically disoriented.
Deaf - Visually Oriented
Fail - achieve a deficiency
Fat - People of Mass
Gang - Youth Group
Old Person / Elderly - Senior Citizens
Policeman - law enforcement officer
Prostitute - sex care provider
Ugly - Cosmetically different
